Hello. Welcome to the Library. This is a little space for me to share the media I consume and vouch for. These lists scratch the surface of what I have watched and enjoyed, but I made sure to collect the ones that I have an attachment to. I may share my thoughts about each of them.
πFullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (fave): Most rewatched of them all.
πCardcaptor Sakura: The music, the vibes, and the outfits...ICONIC.
πInuyasha (fave/first): Rumiko Takahashi's art style has the biggest influence on my own. A classic that I never get tired of watching.
πKareKano: Very dramatic but the monologues are some of my favorite. Sometimes I see myself in the main character in a good and bad way.
πFruits Basket: Very sweet story with very hard pills to swallow...worth the watch! I enjoy the first adaptation and the remake.
πFull Moon wo Sagashite: I always prepare myself before I watch. The last many episodes always give me a good cry. One of the rare cases where I find the adaptation to be better than the book!?
πGintama: Always gives me a good laugh. Does a great job at shifting the tone when a serious arc come up.
πNatsume Yuujinchou (fave): Beautiful story. The main character is so sweet and it's nice to see him make so many yokai friends.
πOuran Highschool Host Club: Feels like it should be a classic? There's so many memorable scenes that I still quote today.
πTokyo Mew Mew (first): One of my introductions to the magical girl and shoujo genre.
πOnegai My Melody (first): My first actual anime. I was seated for My Melody and Kuromi's antics. The opening themes are terribly catchy.
πDurarara: Entertaining to watch the many story lines come together in the end.
πAzumanga Daioh: Vey cute and easy-going show. I love the characters and he shenanigans they get into.
πAttack on Titan (unfinished): The suspense and action always gets me. The story is just so good.
πThe Girl Who Leapt Through Time
πSummer Wars
πAcchi Kocchi (fave): Maybe my favorite romcom. It's nothing fun and absurdity. I enjoy that the episodes are short.
πFullmetal Alchemist (fave): Most reread of them all. I can talk all day about FMA.
πChainsaw Man Pt. 1 (fave): Storytelling is topnotch. I just wish that so many characters didn't have to die.
πOuran Highschool Host Club: Very funny and cute. So many memorable moments and even though it's a satire, it's still a great romance manga.
πOne Piece (fave): The world-building is amazing. Fell in love with the main cast and discovering how everything has meaning.
πTokyo Ghoul: Favorite manga artist. Loved the story and its tone.
πOne Punch Man (art by: Yusuke Murata): The art is eye-catching and inspiring. I like the variety of characters.
πGakuen Alice: (unfinished): Really wish I could finish but fan translations make it hard. The story is really good and feels like a mix of Fruits Basket and Harry Potter?
πKimi ni Todoke: Sweet coming-of-age story where I honestly felt lke I was in Sawako's shoes. She's so cute and relatable! Side characters' journeys are great to read too!
πPandora Hearts (fave): Really amazing story. I wish there was a full adaptation of it. ANother case of a story that's clearly been planned from the start.
πShort Cake Cake: Cute light-hearted story. It was very fast-paced and has cute friendships.
πHouseki no Kuni: The main character goes through so many changes. I was rooting for them at the start but, was conflicted by their decisions later in the story. I still think I need to reread all the chapters to make sense of what's right and wrong.
NINTENDO:
πSplatoon 2-3: Very good game, but super addicting. I have a competitive spirit, so sometimes it's hard to stop. But the aesthetics are off the hook. My favorite mode is Salmon Run and I love playing Rainmaker.
πAnimal Crossing (New Leaf, New Horizons)
πThe Legend of Zelda (Four Swords, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Wind Waker, Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom): I need a Four Swords and Twilight Princess remaster on the Switch! Twilight Princess is my favorite. It was one of my first experiences taking on a game that made me nervous. The Shadow Beasts and Fire Temple boss freaked me out as a kid. But man!! Defeating the bosses was always one of the most satisfying parts of the game.
πMario Bros. (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey)
πSuper Smash Bros. (Melee/Ultimate)
πRhythm Heaven
PLAYSTATION:
πPersona Series (3/Portable/Reload, 4, 5): My current interest. My favorite might be 5 but it might be first impression bias? 3 is sad but the story's message about death is SO GOOD. 4 has a compelling thriller/mystery going on. I have a couple of favorite characters from it too. 5 has an eye-catching art direction and pretty cool story about standing up for what you believe is right. I love the soundtrack for all three!
πFinal Fantasy VII Remake
πResident Evil (2 Remake, 4/Remake, 5): RE2 remake is the first horror game I completed. Now I enjoy the series. I enjoy playing RE4 original the most. Resident Evil does a great job at rewarding you after fighting your fears. I like that.
PC:
πLethal Company
πPEAK
TV SHOWS:
πAvatar: The Last Airbender (fave)
πAbbott Elementary (fave): Fun show with fun characters. I don't watch TV much but I did look forward to getting through Wednesdays to see a new episode.
πStranger Things: I'm so excited for the finale.
πHell's Kitchen: Something about this show is so addicting. There's so many genuinely hilarious moments and lines that I think about often.
πPinnocchio [2014]: Really good story about a girl who can't lie that becomes a reporter. Was my introduction to Kdrama.
πGuardian: The Lonely and Great God (fave)
MOVIES:
πAnything Spider-Man (fave): My favorite superhero.
πFantastic Mr. Fox
πPrincess and the Frog (fave): I appreciate it being the last 2D-animated Disney movie. I used to watch this film so many times to the point where I knew the lines by heart. I still remember the excitement of having a Disney princess look like me being released. I wish Tiana got more recognition.
πSinners
πIt [2017] (fave)
πNope [2022] (fave)
πLilo & Stitch
πSpirited Away (fave): Maybe the best Ghibli film? My most watched film.
πMy Neighbor Totoro (fave): This film brings me comfort. I like Totoro as a character, and I wish I could hug him.
πBeauty and the Beast (fave): Alongside Tiana, Belle is my favorite princess.
MUSIC:
πBTS (fave): My first favorite Kpop group. My favorite album is "Wings". (On a side note: They're possibly the last "active" group I'm anticipating. Over 2024, I grew out of Kpop and am just waiting for their next release.)
πRed Velvet
πLOONA (fave): Had so much fun supporting this group. They had an amazing pre-debut run with great music and a connected music video universe.
πGWSN (fave)
πGORILLAZ
πYUKIKA (fave): "Soul Lady" is one of my favorite albums of all-time. City pop is my favorite music genre!
πKendrick Lamar: "GNX" was my most listened to album of 2025. Considering giving his discography a deep dive. I haven't heard a bad song from him yet.
πpinkpantheress
πVOCALOID (fave)
πHamilton (fave!!): It's nearly been more than a decade and I still am obsessed. I quote the lyrics in my everyday life.
πThe Phantom of the Opera
NOVELS:
πJurassic Park: I had only just finished reading it (Summer 2025), but I didn't expect how wild it would be. I guess it would count as my first horror novel, and I think it's good. Needed to brace myself for the brutal dinosaur attack scenes.
πMo Dao Zu Shi (fave): Really good series. Had fun unraveling the mysteries and enjoyed the chemistry between the leads. Didn't expect the horror elements to come on my first read.
πThe Fault in Our Stars: This is a book I need to reread. I used to love it so much when I was a teen.
πThe Phantom of the Opera: I found the drama and the "phantom's" reveal so entertaining.
